It all begins with an idea.
The gift shop is run by volunteers. Many talented people contribute their skills and talents. The shop started originally for ASM and their friends. We were open before and after services (10:30am on Sundays) and at other times by appointment. When we moved into our current home at 522 Homestead Blvd., Price, Utah, we opened the shop to the general public during Shrove Tuesday Pancake Supper (the day before Ash Wednesday) and the Fall Fare in October.
Currently, the Gift Shop is open by appointment only. Because the church office is not always open at times you may chose to visit, please call the office at 435-637-0106 to leave a message to set up an appointment for you to visit.
We carry many items, of which some are one-of-a kind and not mass produced. The work is done at the church or in homes. It takes many hours to produce our hand embroidered, quilted, knitted and crocheted items, and everyday and special occasion hankies. Among the hand produced items are pillowcases, dish towels (30” by 36”), aprons, wall hangings, pictures, samplers and baby items.
We carry Christmas décor, homemade animals (for children and adults), glass wall crosses (indoor and out), two glass cases of religious items such as crosses and prayer beads and car décor. Available are a limited selection of children’s books, mature coloring books, and color pencils.
Seasonal items are offered, especially for Advent (Advent Wreath candles) and Christmas.
