Come Share the Spirit! Go Share God's Love!
As the Church, we are a people created by God in Christ, called and sent to bear witness to God's creative, redeeming, and sanctifying activity in our life together and in the world as reflected in our Service, Worship, Education, Evangelism, Pastoral Care, Stewardship, and Ecumenical Relations.

A Sense of Our Mission-mindedness
The baptized members of Ascension St. Matthew's Church, responding in faith to the call of the Holy Spirit through the Gospel, unite together to hear the word of God, participate in the Sacraments, and carry out God's mission in the world. We declare our firm commitment to be a cooperative congregation of The Episcopal Diocese of Utah and the Rocky Mountain Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. We are a Christian Fellowship who invites everyone to join us. [More about us.]

Our Commitment
If you are curious, we can help you find answers.
If you have been hurt, we can offer comfort.
If you are overwhelmed, we will extend to you the Peace of our Lord.

If you don't fit in, there's a place for you here.
If you are lonely, we offer a family where you can find companionship.
If you seek quiet, you can be still and know that God is with you.

If you are joyous, we'll rejoice to join you in song.
If you are enthusiastic, we'll rejoice to join you praising God.
If you are energetic, join us in service to God's world.

If you love God, we share that love with you so we can share with others.

The Words we try to live in daily life.
In loving response to the Grace and Love of God and Christ: We are a “Spirit-filled Christian Fellowship founded on Lutheran and Episcopal traditions.

Through faithful response to the call of the Holy Spirit, we are grounded in the Bible and centered in life.

We invite and welcome all people to join our loving church family and to be part of our spiritual home through worship, music and prayer, through fellowship and learning, and in the joyful, loving service to the community around us.

We ask God to help us become good stewards of the gifts he has given us and we ask Him to give us grace to embrace Love and Life and Light, for they are all the same through our Lord Jesus Christ.

We invite everyone to “Come Share the Spirit”, to celebrate the Word of God and to join us in carrying out God’s mission in the world.
